Digital Report - Front-end development
Context
Labrador Transparency designs digital solutions for regulatory and financial communication. I took part in the front-end refactoring of their regulated publications platform — a tool aimed at investors and stakeholders, with rich, structured content and strict accessibility requirements.
The project started from an existing codebase: taking over the front-end architecture and rewriting existing JavaScript logic (authentication, navigation, annotations) and building new interactive features (favourites).
I worked responsively, ensuring complex content remained readable and usable across all devices, closely following the UI mockups. Accessibility was a key criterion: semantic HTML structure, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility — all compliant with WCAG 2 standards.
The project was carried out in collaboration with a project manager, a designer and a back-end developer.

Design
On this project, my design role was limited to faithfully integrating the provided mockups. The challenge was to accurately render a UI over dense content and a complex structure — without distorting either its readability or its visual hierarchy.
